Product

What’s in one scoop?

One 24 g scoop: 10 g pure L-citrulline, 6 g beta-alanine, 3 g taurine, 2 g L-tyrosine, 200 mg caffeine. 21.2 g of actives. The rest is flavour.

It tingles. Is that normal?

Yes. It’s the beta-alanine, 6 g per scoop. The sensation is well known and passes within minutes. If it bothers you, take half a scoop.

Where does a pre-workout crash come from?

From caffeine. It masks fatigue while it works; when it wears off, the fatigue comes back at once. The higher the dose, the harder the drop.

Will it make me crash?

ROK is built to avoid the spike-then-drop: 200 mg of caffeine, not 300 or 400, and 21 g of non-stimulant actives carrying the session. Keep it to one scoop and count the day’s coffee.

More actives means more crash?

No. The crash depends on the stimulant dose, not the grams. Of 21.2 g of actives, caffeine weighs 0.2 g; the rest serves the session and has nothing that drops after.

Why pure citrulline?

Because the printed number is the real number. 6 g of 2:1 malate is 4 g of citrulline. Our 10 g are 10 g of citrulline.

What does it taste like?

Blue raspberry, tart. Best ice cold.

Usage

When do I take it?

Twenty minutes before training, in cold water.

How many scoops a day?

One. Never more than one scoop a day.

What do I mix it with?

Cold water, in a big shaker. 24 g of powder needs room.

How long does a tub last?

20 scoops of 24 g. About 4 weeks at 5 sessions a week.

Safety

How much caffeine?

200 mg per scoop. One scoop a day, no more. Count your coffee and energy drinks for the day too.

Who shouldn’t take it?

Contains caffeine (200 mg per scoop): not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not exceed the stated daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. A food supplement does not replace a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.

Is the tingle a problem?

It’s a well-known, passing sensation from beta-alanine. A meta-analysis of 101 studies found no serious effect (PMID 30980076). If it bothers you, drop to half a scoop.

Can I take it in the evening?

Caffeine stays in your body for hours. If you train late, leave room before you sleep.

Beginner

What is a pre-workout?

A powder you mix in water and drink before training. This one has five actives, including caffeine.

I’ve never taken one. How do I start?

Half a scoop for your first session, in cold water, twenty minutes before. Move to a full scoop after that if all is well.

It tingles. Is that normal?

Yes. It’s the beta-alanine, 6 g per scoop. The sensation is well known and passes within minutes. If it bothers you, take half a scoop.

Do I need a pre to make progress?

No. Training, sleep and food come first. A pre is for the sessions that count.
